I usually don’t write reviews, in this case I need to write one for Mike and Team. I looked up DRY Home along with a few other local companies for my Roof replacement due to weather related damage and having to deal with insurance claims process. Mike from DryHome was very honest and upfront with me through out the whole process and did not have me sign locking contracts upfront and he was very transparent. He helped me through the process the whole way to get approvals and to get a very good roofing product and installation crew. I am very happy customer with the overall DryHome service experience and the install.

Very happy with their work. We had some pieces of siding fall off in a wind storm. It was not a big job, but they came out, gave us an estimate, and did the work. Easy to deal with and quality work. Estimate was exactly the price we paid. Definitely would use them again.

We are very happy with our new roof from DryHome! From the time Jim came to do the estimate, to the final inspection and all the time in between, I really felt like they all cared (billing person, scheduler, installers, etc). Unfortunately we were on a deadline for the new roof from our insurance company and everyone I spoke to at DryHome was professional, understanding and efficient! They made communication easy for my busy schedule with email, texts or calling options. Jim even came by on the day the roof was being put on to make sure everything was going well. I would give a rating of 4.7. Good sales representative who provided details of the project. Reasonable price. Scheduling of material delivery and installing were good. Installation went well and precautions taken to protect the house. Clean up after work was reasonably good, with only very few nails and asphalt shingles pieces and trash left. They can do a even better job if the crew take more caution to minimize damage to the dormer sidings and front panels.

We had DryHome come and perform a roof repair to address a water leak. They came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. The cost of the repair was reasonable and the time to repair the leak was prompt. I definitely would consider using them in the future - be it for a leak or to replace our roof.

I was having coffee when someone rang our doorbell. I assumed it was a solicitation, but lo and behold, it was Chris. He introduced himself and asked to check if there was any roof damage on my home. He was super friendly and polite, and he assured me there was no catch.I let them perform the inspection, and fast-forward three weeks later: I have a solid, brand-new roof, gutted and done same day! Not only that, but they also fixed my gutter and downspout leaks along the way. I’m incredibly impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. I’ve already recommended them to my neighbors and close friends.A+++ roofing company! They handled everything regarding my home insurance inspection. He was absolutely fantastic to work with.Mike came out, inspected the damage, and walked us through the entire insurance claim process step by step. He worked directly with the insurance adjuster and made sure everything that needed to be addressed was included in the claim. That alone took a huge amount of stress off our shoulders.What really stood out was Mike’s honesty and communication. DryHome Roofing & Siding were okay, but could've been better, especially with their communication. They timely came out and inspected my roof and timely gave the results of the free inspection. The actual roof work looks to be good, but since I'm not an expert in this, I've got to take their word and assume everything was done correctly.My issues though, were they tried to do the work with snow on my roof. I told them it was going to be an issue and I would contact them when my roof was clear. However, the project manager said they would be able to handle everything, snow wasn't going to be a problem. Day of, crew came out and set up everything and started doing some work. The project manager was not there. I closed my door, and let the crew be. They don't need me watching them, when I'm not an expert on this. 45 min later, my door bell rings, and answer my door to a large truck with my shingles and wood, yet the crew that was their previously is gone. Everything they set up, gone. No one told me they were leaving. I called Project manager and asked what is going on, he said because of snow on my roof and backyard they couldn't proceed with the work. The same thing I had told him earlier in the week. Any issues, I should've been called by Project Manager first and way before the crew left, not me calling him. He tells me to tell driver of large truck to leave and not drop off shingles. Only to be contacted a few hours later by Project manger and be there for shingles and wood to be dropped off later that day. So basically it was a wasted day for me.A few days later the work was completed, but the Project manager I had been talking to, wasn't there, and some other Project Manager was there, but after further inspection later that same day they completed the work, I noticed they had left(tar/pieces of shingles, etc) on my neighbors siding and asked them to come back out the next day to clean the mess they left. They said they would come back 6 days later and clean it and do final inspection. This was a one person job and should've been done right away. It wasn't like I wanted a whole crew to come out. Due to weather that got delayed(which I understand), but then it was scheduled for a week later to come back out. A week later, no reminder that they are coming out and it's raining, the Project manager came out cleaned my neighbors siding and did final inspection. But only reason I knew someone came out, was I noticed my neighbors siding had been cleaned. At least send me a text. No paperwork was left for me regarding the final inspection. I had to request this the next day after I received the final bill.So good company, but they need to work on their communication, if they want to keep their 5 star rating in the future.

The quality work done by the crew was simply excellent and they were very attentive to some follow up requests I had once the work had concluded. Beyond the stellar work done by the crew, I wanted to shout out Zach from DryHome for the extremely personal touch he gave us while assisting with the insurance process. His work on our behalf and genuine friendliness was so sincerely appreciated. While at some points the frequency of communication stalled out and our project occasionally had a few lengthy delays outside of our control, overall we were super happy with the end result and would still rate this a 5 star experience. If you are considering a siding replacement project, definitely consider this contractor!

This is one of the top home vendors I have dealt with. I got their business name from Check Book, but also top referrals from several friends. They returned my call immediately, set me up with an advisor who visited my home, provided detailed analysis, set up a work date and the craftsmanship was professional. Review of Dry Home Roofing and Siding, Inc.Dry Home Roofing and Siding did a major job for us following wind damage and a tree fall onour home in June 2025. We experienced a hole in the roof and our front door was on the floor.There was damage to the siding as well as to the interior of our home.Our call was answered quickly and Dry Home sent a vary competent representative, ChantzPetrie, to survey the damage and advise us of the plan ahead, including what our insurancewould cover. Chantz was very familiar with our Travelers insurance and he contacted ourinsurance adjuster about the many details of the roof and truss repair was well as the siding onour home.An initial contractor installed a faulty tarp on the roof that leaked. quickly came and fixed the faulty tarp.After a rainstorm, ChantzChantz kept us informed about the progress and worked with our Reston covenant advisor tobe sure that the repair would meet Reston’s specific requirements. The communicationbetween Chantz at Dry Home and our insurer was very critical to getting the proper repair doneand being reimbursed properly. I left the details of the repairs and its cost to Dry Home andour insurance paid almost all of our expenses.The workmen were very competent and polite and they tried to lessen the disruption as muchas possible.I would give Dry Home a 10 rating and certainly would recommend them to neighbors.Susan Gartner

It was easy to schedule an appointment to inspect a leaking skylight. The estimator was on time and knowledgable, showing pictures to me after on-roof inspection. Options were provided and we decided to replace both 25+ yo skylights. Communication with scheduler was timely and a pleasure. We received clear instructions in advance about preparing for the installation. Installers arrived on time and workmanship was quality. Cleanup could have been more thorough but I can understand a scrap here or there finding its way into bushes. Waited to write this review now that it's rained a few times. No issues.

We met with several roofers when deciding to replace our roof, and DryHome was by far the most responsive, professional, and thorough in explaining the entire roof installation process. Their team - led by Jim Miller and Roberto was incredibly helpful from start to finish, answering all our questions and making sure we understood each step.A mistake was made during the material ordering process, which DryHome caught themselves and immediately let us know about. They went out of their way to make it right and ensure we were completely satisfied with both the experience and the finished roof.The communication throughout was excellent, and we especially appreciated that DryHome conducts their own post-installation inspection with a field leader to make sure everything meets their standards. During that inspection, the field leader noticed our bathroom fan wasn’t fully connected to its vent and quickly arranged for it to be fixed—without any inconvenience to us.We’re very happy with our experience and highly recommend DryHome to anyone looking for a company that stands behind its work and cares about customer satisfaction.

If you have any Velux windows that need repair these are absolutely the best place to go in the Washington DC area. We had three Velux windows side-by-side in a gently sloping roof that were aging (about 30 years, believe it or not) and one was beginning to show small leak. These guys (Beny and all) are real experts in Velux windows and we replaced all three at a reasonable cost. The new ones, BTW, appear to be even improved offering solar power features. The workmanship, response, efficiency (work completed in less than 2 days) and expertise of the replacement crew (Joel, crew boss) was outstanding. I couldn't give any of our contacts with DryHome anything less than a 5 star and would give 6 star if that were possible. Again, I have no experience with other roofing jobs DryHome does but if they are of this same quality, I wouldn't look further.

Quite sincerely, the service by DryHome relating to the inspection, work, and follow up on my Fairfax station home following a recent storm was nothing short of stellar. To the untrained eye, it was not obvious that there was significant damage to the roof. Mike, the insurance and roof specialist from DryHome, was not only trained, but was literally bona fide and certified expert on wind and hail damage. He was not only able to objectively, verify Damage, but also provided evidence for damage that the insurance company had either completely missed or misrepresented. Unlike the interactions I had with my insurance company, Mike was always timely, professional and thorough in our communications- He guided me through the process to ensure I was able to receive the maximum amount of coverage. The DryHome installation crew who eventually did the actual work were likewise extremely professional and thorough in their work - both inside and outside the house. (I had to get a new attic fan as well as a bathroom skylight installed.) finally, the staff at Dry Home was likewise as equally professional, courteous, and timely, and all their communications would be throughout the process. Not only would I recommend DryHome for service, I actually already did. I noticed Mike one day after my work had been done back in our neighborhood and he said that my neighbor across the street, contacted them for service on their roof. I have absolutely no regrets about having called them to take care of the roof on our home. Thanks for a great job!

I recently discovered a slow roof leak which had made its way through the drywall. With the storms we were having, I needed immediate help or the damage would have gotten worse. Two places gave me a window of a month wait but DryHome sent a rep out that same day to check the roof and put a temporary cover over the damaged area. Within days I had a very reasonable estimate so work could begin. The roof damage was repaired and completed and the drywall followed almost immediately. The contractors were all very courteous and friendly and worked tirelessly to complete the work. Most impressive for me was the immediate service to shore up the leak preventing more damage. I highly recommend DryHome Roofing and Siding!! I would use them again.

Great company to work with. Dryhome came out for a roof inspection because my wife thought we might have a water leak. Roberto was the inspector and he fixed a couple of minor issues but let us know that our roof is in great condition. He could have easily sold us on roofing repairs since I completely trust Dryhome but he was super honest. If he had told me I needed a new roof, I would have told him to go for it. We also had Dryhome redo the roof on our gazebo a few years ago and they did a fantastic job. We'll need our windows replaced soon and I'll be calling Dryhome to get that done for sure.

All I can say is WOW! I had skylights and sun tunnels installed recently and it has changed my life. My home is so much brighter and airy feeling than before, it is amazing! And the many cool features from the automated skylights still has me in awe. The sun tunnels have brought so much natural light inside I don't need to turn on my light in the hallway anymore, and the nightlight feature creates a moonlight ambiance that is both peaceful and useful as a nightlight for those late night bathroom trips. The ladies and gents at Dryhome Roofing were very responsive to my wants and concerns, they exceeded all my expectations. I had a very minor issue with the skylights after installation, the "President" of the company personally came to my home and brought with him the regional representative for Velux to correct the problem. To me it was a bit over top, but as a consumer it showed how above and beyond Dryhome was willing to go to make sure the problem was corrected. I will be sure to highly recommend them to all my friends and neighbors and to anyone reading this review you will not be disappointed when choosing Dryhome Roofing. I had two skylights replaced when I noticed some moisture inside my living room. I am very pleased with the work. The estimator came out right away and answered all my questions. He explained exactly what needed to be done, and even explained the possible "hidden costs" that would arise if they found certain problems during the work. They ended up finding some rotted plywood that fit into the "hidden cost" category, but because of the information from the estimator I was prepared for the possibility and happy with the transparency. That being said, I am not completely on board with providing a large deposit prior to even getting an appointment. I understand that materials must be ordered and there is uncertainty with when they could come in, but I'm certain they could provide an estimate of the time it commonly takes to come in and set a tentative appointment. This would have put me more at ease, and helped with the obvious anxiety that comes with not knowing when your leaky roof is going to be fixed. In the end, I got a last minute opening and the roof was fixed way before I was anticipating, but the departure of the scheduling process from the clarity of the estimation process should be addressed. Regardless, given the quality of the work, I would strongly recommend the company.
