We chose to do business with Legacy because they are local to our town and we had used them previously for our HVAC needs and had a great experience.Even though they were the highest bid (by far) for our roof job we went with them because we heard good things. The roofing went fine and looks great. We had some issues with our newly installed skylights and were told to contact the manufacturer to fix. We waited for months to have our gutters put on, only to have Legacy to ask for double what they initially quoted and the had the installers show up with headlamps on after hours to do the work. They mistakenly and without asking cut into the trim on our 125 year old Victorian house and have not been out to repair it. The gutters leak on every end and on one part of the house, they left out a gutter entirely. The owner promised to have someone come out and fix it, that was last November. It’s May.Mistakes happen, that’s a part of life. How we handle those mistakes shows our character. Legacy is great as long as there are no hiccups along the way. Otherwise, you’re on your own.
