If this businesses quality of work is anything like their driving, I wouldn't trust them anywhere near my home! Let alone in a neighborhood full of kids. Stop riding tailgates on the interstate in a construction zone and then continue to do so well over the speed limit. Maybe have some better time management skills in your line of work so you aren't driving like a maniac over 90mph from one job to the next!

I don’t know what quality of work they do because they told me twice that they would come over to look at my project and they never showed up. Numerous calls and messages to 2 different phone numbers after that and no one returned my call. They may have closed. I guess I’ll never know.

We had 3 sun tunnels with solar LED night lights installed in our home by the Skylight Guys. They are a very high quality product (Velux) which we have had installed in a prior home. The work was done in less than a day and they are amazing. Ken and his crew were friendly, professional and honest. I highly recommend them.

After recent downpour I noticed our skylight was leaking. I called a few places , one of them being the skylight guys. I called Ken on a Friday evening and he answered right away. He came out the following day to take a look and give us a bid. Due to the active leak Ken bumped us up to the front, had the skylight in stock and started the work on Tuesday. Ken and his son finished the following day due to some drywall damage that he was also able to repair. During the entire process Ken was on time, he explained how things were built and worked. He answered every question I had and schooled me about skylights along the way. If I could give them 10 stars I would. If I ever need another skylight, I’m calling Ken and his son. They aren’t just installers, they are talented craftsmen in their job. I highly recommend.

This was the best company to work with! Ken came out and covered all the needed information to make our decision. 3 solar tubes went in in under 6 hours, with virtually no mess, and the difference is amazing. Even when we found that 1 of the night lights was not working Ken made it out to replace it. No more worries about dark bathrooms or hallway. Thank you Ken!

I want to thank Ken for doing a great job replacing the skylight in our house. From the first phone call to the replacement of the window, everything went so smooth. Ken knew exactly what I needed before he stopped and looked at it. The day of the install, he and his helper took every precaution to not make a mess and cleaned up after themselves. I am glad we chose Ken to do the job, and I will recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

I recommend skylight guys out of Lincoln their sun tunnel installation and service is awesome!! We’ve had our sun tunnels for 6 years had a new roof put on and roofers detached the tunnels. I called sky light guys they were out the next morning repaired them quickly and efficiently. I watched the repairs and craftsmanship was excellent. Ken was very polite and explained what had happened in detail. Awesome job thanks Ken!

Responsive and excellent communication. Ken returned phone calls. He stopped by to visit with us and discuss our situation. He did an excellent job of determining what product would be our best fit. He did exactly what he said he would do. He ordered the correct product and kept us updated on our install timeframe.Quality work. Our product was installed on the day they said they were coming. Their work was outstanding. Outside, our roof is better than they found it. They did not leave a trace of debris inside our sunroom. Neat and tidy. A huge thank you.Outstanding product. Our new skylight is amazing. I am so glad that they are a Velux dealer. The skylight opens, the blind blocks unwanted sun and it even closes itself if it starts to rain. The technology is not complicated and Ken took the time to be sure we understood it before he left.Overall a highest recommendation for the Skylight Guys!

The Skylight Guys just installed three sun tunnels to provide more light to our kitchen and entryway. First of all, the owner (Ken) is very responsive and on time which is hard to come by these days. Ken takes his time to make sure you're comfortable and answers all your questions. He doesn't rush through the analysis portion of helping you determine the work project and his recommendations. He in fact helped us by recommending just two sun tunnels in our kitchen area vs the three we were originally thinking we needed. Straight shooter and no BS is very much appreciated. Had one small issue the day after install and Ken drove from Lincoln to Omaha the very next day to fix. Great customer service and follow-up! If we ever install more sun tunnels, we'll only consider The Skylight Guys.

If you’re in the Omaha/Lincoln area, this is the only company you should call for skylight repairs or replacements! Ken was very responsive and quick to come inspect our skylight after we noticed water stains appearing on our ceiling. With his roofing experience, he addressed our leaky roof concerns and explained what needed to be fixed. Installation was fast and clean, he even fixed the water stains. Highly recommend The Skylight Guys!

Highly recommend! Ken responded to inspect a skylight I thought was leaking. Due to his extensive knowledge in roofing & skylights he was able to determine the leak was coming from a different area. He easily could have ended the contact at that point and recommended a roofer. He went back to his truck and put caulking in the roof leak knowing my skylight was fine & that I didn’t need his business. Very kind and professional. Thank you Skylight Guys!

Great communication from Ken during the process. The guys are congenial, patient, personable. We discussed options available. They finished in an amazing time. We purchased a Velux solar skylight from the Skylight Guys in 2019. We love it and it's the best part of the room. During consultation and installation everything was smooth and clear. Yesterday we had an issue with the skylight for the first time. I called Ken, and within an hour he was at my house. Less than half an hour later, everything was fixed. It was amazing! I'm so glad that we had the Skylight Guys working with us because I can trust them to help us with quick, professional service. Highly recommend!

And again once started it went well. He is a very busy man being the only show in town. Clean up after themselves. I had two skylights installed.

I had three skylight (solar tubes) installed today. They were here by 8 am and done by 11:30 am. Very neat, efficient workers! Now it's so bright I keep wanting to turn off the 'light'. But I'm loving it! Great job guys!

So Ken replaced my skylight for me three years ago, and the service at the time was excellent, and I left him a 5 star review. But a few months ago my remote broke that was still under warranty, so I contacted Ken. He told me he'd be out that Saturday to look at it. He didn't show up. When I called, he said he was waiting for the remote. COVID hit, so I have him some extra time before I followed up a month later. He said he still hadn't received the part after I called him multiple times. Then, he totally ghosted me and wouldn't return my calls. I finally called Velux Skylights. They were able to get me a replacement remote sent out within just a couple days. They also told me they didn't have any records from Ken that he even ordered a replacement remote. I hope I don't have any more issues because service after the sale is awful.

Always promised the parts were on order, made appointments to show up to fix Skylight never showed up then they would reschedule and promised to show up next week. They installed our Skylight new in 2016 and four years later we’re still waiting for our skylight to be fixed. Very poor customer service, shabby business practices, poor communication skills, would not recommend this company!

Ken was excellent to work with. I had a water spot in the ceiling of a closet under my skylight, and Ken was wonderful from start to finish. He came out the same day I called him, and even put up plastic on my roof that same day, before a contract was signed, since we had rain in the forecast. He had my skylight fixed just a few days later, and everything is working perfectly. I never knew how much I needed a skylight with a solar shade! I love my new skylight.

We have used the Skylight Guys on several occasions, most recently when hail damaged our roof along with damage to all four skylights. We have always found this company reliable and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company for anyone who is considering either skylight repair or replacing older skylights. They know what they are doing.

Ken and his son take a great deal of pride in their work and their craft. They are most certainly expert skylight installers and actually take time to do things correctly and neatly. They did an insurance replacement for me and were excellent about timing their work with the roofing crew. They were responsive to calls and emails, showed up on time, and left no dirt or trash behind. Ken clearly cares about the look and function of the finished product and I'd gladly recommend him to anyone.

Old Skylight was leaking and ruining my Ceiling. Ken came out and gave me a very fair estimate and some options, such as solar blinds if I wanted it. I agreed for him to do the job on a Friday. He ordered my New Skylight which was to arrive in about 3 business days. Mean while we were expecting ThunderStorms on Saturday Night. Ken came out that afternoon and Put Plastic over my Skylight. That night we had 60 MPH winds and rain blowing sideways with marble size hail. Thanks to what he did, I had no new leakage that night, which I believe would have totally ruined my Ceiling as severe as the Storm was. He did not charge me to do that. Then on Wednesday he put in the New Skylight in about 1/2 a day. His workmanship was OutStanding. I highly recommend The Skylight Guys!
