Northstar replaced a 40 year old skylight for us and it was a great experience. Dustin was easy to work with in helping get our project coordinated. Bobby and Nye who did the actual installation were professional, thorough and very considerate. We are very happy with the final outcome. Would happily recommend their services to others.

I had a skylight that was dripping and had Northstar out to inspect it. They informed me that my skylight was not the best for cold climates. They recommended a model and the crew that came out removed my current skylight. They showed me why it was dripping and why it was not for cold climates. They were friendly and professional. They did the installation and explained everything they did to insure no more drips. They cleaned up the areas they worked in and completed a check list that was to my satisfaction. I would recommend Northstar Skylights for any Skylight work.

Although we did not have any work done by North Star Skylights ourselves, our neighbors did. Due to the proximity of our homes and the location of their skylight replacement, the contractors needed significant access to our yard. They were courteous, professional, and apologetic about any inconvenience. Throughout the process, they kept us informed and ensured our yard was free of nails and debris once the work was completed. Our neighbor's new skylight looks fantastic—it even has us considering adding one!

North Star Skylights did a massive redesign and install on a 40' long greenhouse on a historic mansion for a customer of mine. They had to reframe all of the skylights and created a coffered style ceiling with the skylights that put the last greenhouse ceiling to shame.From design to production, they were super thorough, and their communication was excellent. From now on these are my go-to guys for high scale skylight projects. Thank you for the excellent work and communication throughout!!

I recently had a skylight installed by North Star Skylights, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The team was professional, efficient, and clearly experienced in VELUX skylights. The finishing touches of trim around the skylight was done with great attention to detail and really “sealed” the deal! The customer service was exceptional and the installation team were respectful of my house and that I was working from home. I highly recommend North Star Skylights for anyone considering a skylight installation or replacement. I will be recommending them to my condo association and neighbors for replacing their original 1989 skylights. Very nice gentlemen who were responsive, informative, and helpful. When I called about repairs needed for skylight I didn't even know it was a roof window. North Star educated me about available products, explained how to work with my insurance company, and sent the nicest professionals to install my new skylight. Highly recommend.

I am really happy with our skylights we got from North Star Skylights. Everyone I spoke with from scheduling someone to come out to look at our old sky lights to the guys who came out and replaced them were very nice & friendly. The whole process was very easy and there was no pressure from anyone trying to get us to buy their skylights. I was impressed with the guys who came out to install them. It was a cloudy, cold windy day that I wouldn't want to work in, but they worked hard and did a great job getting them installed. I would use them again!

FAST Service, knowledgeable staff, great Product! At the end of our remodel project we discovered our skylight needed replacement. Contacted North Star Skylights and they came out in a few hours, gave a quote then had the skylight installed within ~20 hours. WOW! We are completely satisfied with their 10-year no glass breakage guarantee and their Team. Dan, Jordan and Corey were EXCELLENT, and they probably deserve 10 stars...

I am very pleased with the entire crew of North Star Skylights. They have been quick to respond, friendly, clear about timing, scheduling, and preparation for work. The installers did a fantastic job with the windows and clean up. This job was replacement of old roof window skylights, one of which was broken by the hail storm. They got me on the schedule before winter. I bought room darkening shades for these new skylights which are awesome. Great company, great product.

The part I needed to replace was over ten years old. After trying and failing with other companies, I finally found Dustin who was willing to contact Velux and track down the part. The mounting bracket was also lost in translation, however with more work on his part, it finally came together. Thanks Dustin for sticking with this repair!

North Star Skylights did an excellent and very professional job replacing our skylights. I shopped around and got several bids and theirs was competitive in price but far more thorough in explaining the process. Our shingles are uncommon but they made a perfect match where other venders said they could only try to get close. They communicated clearly about the schedule, showed up on time, and cleaned up leaving no trace they had even been there other than the beautiful new skylights. All that and Rob, Dan, and Chris were very personable and not in that corporate 'we have to be nice to the customer' way. Highly recommend them if you are looking for skylight work.

One of the best vendors I have ever worked with. They were able to find and replace a dome skylight that was over 40 years old. Dan and his colleagues were very thorough, always on time and very responsive. Even after installation when we had a small leak unrelated to the skylight, they made a trip out to make sure everything was in order and helped us fix the unrelated problem. From the first call to their last visit, I was pleased at each point with their responsiveness and the quality of their work.
