Jim did a fantastic job installing solar shades for my kitchen skylights! He also replaced the ancient motor/keypad system (broken for years!) for opening the skylights with a manual approach. Jim shows up when he says he will: he does what he says is going to do, and does it extremely well!. He cleans up, is pleasant to work with, and knows his business. I highly recommend Jim.

Hands down the best contractor Ive ever hired. Jim was extremely detail-oriented, super responsible to texts abd/ or phone calls, showed up when he said he woukd, and did a great job putting in my 2 new skylights....and left my loft as clean as it was before he did the word. Highly recommend!

I am SO happy with his professional, extremely timely responses every time I texted or e-mailed with a question and, most importantly, his work was impeccable and he left no trace of debris to be found. If you need new skylights, don't even bother looking anywhere else. Absolutely hire Sky's the Limit!!!

It's so nice to find businesses where the owners are the ones who do the work. Both the installation of our skylights and the upgrade to solar blinds several years later were done in a timely, top-quality, professional manner. I only wish all contractors were as reliable as Jim at Sky's the Limit.

We had two Velux skylights replaced with solar when it was a fairly new item. Sky's The Limit did the installation. We were extremely happy with the product and even more so the installation. We decided to replace the last three skylights in the house with solar. No question of who to call. Sky's The Limit is efficient, thorough, and immaculate in both the installation and the clean-up. They were quick to respond to any question via email or phone. We have had a lot of work done to our home, but have never been able to post a superior rating. We won't hesitate to call them again for any future projects!

I worked with Sky's The Limit to deal with leaking skylights in my house that needed replacing. The communication, work, price all could not have been better. Really my only complaint would be that I didn't listen to Jim about installing skylight shades as well. I can always do that in the future though and I will be sure to use Sky's The Limit if I do.

When our 30 plus years old Velux skylights let us know it was time to replace them, we of course wanted to replace them again with a Velux product. I researched Velux dealers in my area and was lucky enough to find Sky's the Limit! Jim contacted us promptly after our online query and came out to inspect the windows and advise us of our options. He and Chris were knowledgeable and professional and we had an estimate within a weeks time. We made our choice and within a very short period of time our new skylights were installed. I can't say enough about the quality of their work and the product. As a homeowner of more years than I would like to admit, we have had many repairs and home improvements done. Without a doubt Jim and Chris are the best professionals we have ever had. Their work is impeccable and I highly recommend them.

Jim was so knowledgeable about his product, it was comforting to know I was in good hands. His crew was tidy and on time with project. He removed a very old skylight and installed a Velux Solar I LOVE it, it looks great in the bathroom and I'm looking forward to the warmer weather and using it daily! We couldn't be happier with our new skylights. When we bought our home a few years ago, Jim and Chris did some maintenance on the existing original units. When it came time to replace them recently, I contacted Jim again, and got a quote. He quickly provided us with a detailed, comprehensive quote and scope of work, visited the house to work with us on product selection, showed great flexibility in working around our other contractor's schedule, and did a super job of installation (two skylights in one day). They were very respectful about working in and around our home, taking great care with protecting furniture and cleaning up, and spent all the time we needed to train us on our new remote controls. Their service, selection, and support were first-rate. I wish all contractors were this easy to work with!

I needed a new skylight to replace an old Pella. I found this company online. They are among the most accessible and helpful contractors I ever hired. They return email, call back, answer questions, and do exceptional work. They are timely, clean, friendly, and leave your home with exactly what you hired them to do. This is a 5 star company.

Jim and his colleague just installed 2 Velux curb-mounted skylights in my condo in preexisting skylight holes. I can't speak of their cost relative to other contractors, because I didn't have other quotes. The quality of their work was very high, in my opinion. They arrived when they said they would, did the work within their quoted amount, explained the configuration of the remote-controlled skylights and the tax reimbursement procedures, and cleaned up after themselves. I got the sense that they are very conscientious in their work, and the final product seems to show it. I highly recommend them.

I initially installed Velux Skylights in my home 23 years ago. At that time Jim was employed by Velux and provided outstanding customer service to my roofer. He explained the proper flashing installation procedures which resulted in a clean leak-free installation. As with any product, materials and technology change over time. With this said, I upgraded to the Solar Powered Skylights with Integra remote control. When it came time for installation I knew Jim was now in business as "Sky's the Limit" with partner Chris Mahoney. When I contacted them, they immediately provided a very thorough job proposal. Once on the job Jim and Chris dissected the existing roof and installed the new skylights in a meticulous and efficient manner. The fit and finishwork both inside and out was impeccable. When the job was complete you could not tell that they were ever at my home. The skylights are whisper quiet and the Integra remote effortlessly controls all skylight and blind controls.
