I own and operate a local roofing company, we needed a skylight that wasn’t a standard size, Boise Skylight was a pleasure to work with and helped me get the right one ordered. We ended up not needing some of the materials we added onto the order, and they returned them for us and sent a check for the refunded amount. Turns out I never cashed that check, Boise Skylight reached out months later when their bank informed them it had never been processed, and they had another one sent right away. Can’t beat that kind of honesty and integrity in a business! Highly recommend!

Excellent work!! Very professional, excellent communication, and in general just experts when it comes to skylights and solar tubes! They were able to fix/repair all of recently installed skylights (including a custom skylight) by another contractor who really botched them all. I should have had Boise Skylights do the skylight installations in the first place!!

I had a whole house fan and a sun tunnel installed and Steven and Tracy were both very helpful and informative before and after the installation. I LOVE the sun tunnel Every time I walk into the room I think I forgot to turn off a light. Too cold to use the house fan but can't wait to crank it up when it warms up. The installation was completed quickly and Steven even cleaned up before he left. Idaho Power is offering a $200 rebate for the house fan and the IRS lets you write off 30% of the cost/installation of the sun tunnel. So it's a win-win! Highly recommend!!

We had Paul and Steven install skylights and a sun tunnel in our house. Paul went above and beyond in the beginning planning, as we have a fire suppression system we had to work around. He helped contact vendors and get quotes for us from various fire suppression companies. Once everything was approved he handled all the scheduling. He was great with communicating times and dates everyone would be working at our house. The skylights are amazing, they open our place up, and bring in much needed light. Beyond the work being impeccable, Paul and Steven were extremely lovely to work with. They are genuinely nice and caring people. They will be my first call always if we have a need for skylights again in the future!

Steven with Boise Skylight recently installed two sun tubes in a new addition to our house and we could not be happier with the results. From the first call they were professional and prompt, and also very accommodating with scheduling around both the roofers outside and the ceiling installers inside. Steven is very knowledgeable about the product and answered all of our questions about which size tubes to go with for our application, questions we had about the solar night lights, and even showed me how easy it was to customize the bottom ring color from white so that I could make a black ring that matched the rest of the can lights in the room. We definitely recommend Boise Skylight.

Can't speak highly enough of Boise Skylight! A couple months after I bought my first home, Boise recorded the rainiest August in local history, and one of my skylights started leaking. I reached out to Boise Skylight via email to see how much a repair would cost. They very quickly responded, checked out the skylight, and gave me a thorough quote. I chose Boise Skylight because, in addition to giving me the best price and having great personable and professional service, they also offered a multiple year warranty on pretty much everything.When I reached out to Boise Skylight to schedule my repair, they informed me that, due to a clerical error, my skylight repair would actually cost more than they had originally quoted me. However, in the same breath, they told me they would honor my original quote. Very generous of them! Nothing was set in stone when I called to schedule, so they could've easily sent me the new quote and asked me to pay the higher price if decided to go with their business. The fact that they stuck to their original quote speaks very highly of their integrity, professionalism, and customer service.My skylight was replaced earlier today, and everything went very smoothly! The replacement took less than two hours and had zero hiccups. Everyone I've interacted with from Boise Skylight has been exceedingly wonderful! Boise Skylight absolutely lives up to its five star rating on Google, and I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Wanted to give a huge shout out to Boise Skylight & Solar Tube. I saw them at the home and garden show a couple weeks back and had them come give me a free quote last Friday, which was way less than I thought it would be. They are FAST and just installed my two sun tunnels today, MONDAY! Here is a before and after of my hallway and guest bathroom. Sun tunnels make all of the difference and these guys did a wonderful job! LET THERE BE LIGHT!!

I can not recommend this company enough! They were so kind, honest, and professional. I was having a horrible time finding someone local to fix my skylights and Paul even tried to offer advise/help so that I could save money by not having them travel to me. I gladly paid them to come to me so I could have quality work done that I could trust. They were in constant communication and so pleasant. Even told me my roof had much more life in it than another company had tried to convince me. I also feel the prices were very clear and fair and my quote matched the final invoice. They are amazing!

Awesome experience. Called for a quote on 4 skylights and he was out in a heartbeat. The quote was for less then I had anticipated and they were ready to install the next day. The install was fast clean and non intrusive. I can't ever remember a transaction that went as smooth as this one. Same day estimate and same week install of my new hybrid attic fan in prep for record height temps coming. I took Paul’s recommendation and went with a hybrid fan so it runs off solar during the day and electric at night when needed. I could feel an instant temp difference in the bonus room upstairs. We can now use it all through the summer months comfortably. Couldn’t be happier with their quick, knowledgeable, and professional team. About 8 years ago Paul installed a skylight in my living room. He did excellent work then and his team does excellent work now too!

Once again, Boise Skylight delivered! We are beyond thrilled with the work that Steven and Phil did on our home. This is the second home we have had Boise Skylight help us, and in both situations, it has made a world of difference! Boise Skylight installed two solar tubes to brighten up the darkest corners of my dining room and hallway. I cannot believe how much light the tubes emit, but they do not heat up my house like a window or skylight and the diffusers soften the direct sunshine.Paul was great at explaining the process and listening to my needs when he came over to bid on the project, and Phil and Steven installed both solar tubes and cleaned up, including running a vacuum, in about two hours.No muss, no fuss, very reasonably priced, and so much more energy efficient. I highly recommend Boise Skylight!

Had my skylight installed in November and is doing great. Install was good but a bit of a scramble getting the drywall guy to show up with some missed appointments. Paul and his son are great at getting back to you if issues arise and the tax credit was very accurate. When doing taxes make sure to state that the project was solar, not just a skylight to get the full credit. (Assuming you get the solar blinds added)Overall very pleased with the purchase!

What an incredible experience!! The owner Steven (also our roofer) had spoken to us a number of times about the advantages of a sun tunnel to brighten up our house, and he wasn't wrong! No more dark kitchen in the middle of the day and being my wife loves natural lighting, this was a perfect addition to our home. Last year Steven replaced two old skylights for us with New Low E skylights. Much better. With all the smoke soot and dirt my wife thought one looked cracked. We called him this morning and he came this afternoon and cleaned them. No crack. They look great and we appreciate not only the new skylights but the fast service a year later. Someday we will need roof work or a new roof and we will call Steven again.

Steven was the only one who figured out how to put a blind that opens and closes in my skylight for under a thousand dollars even less than $500!!He explained how to use the remote for a blinds very well and made it easy to understand everything about the productInstallation was very quick and he was here and done in under 20 minutes. I am so very impressed with Boise Skylight!!We had a skylight tube installed a few weeks ago by another contractor we got referred to by Home Depo. He charged 2 1/2 times as much as Boise Skylight and took 4 hours ( 3 people working).Boise Skylight took 1 hour. Steve the installer was punctual, very friendly and professional.When I asked Steve to come back to have a solar collector, battery and light installed in the tube we had installed by the other contractor it was scheduled immediately and completed the very next business day and we only had to pay the price of the part.Thank you Paul and Steve!We absolutely love our new skylights!

The installer was efficient. I had concerns to which he listened patiently. At first I was disappointed that there was not bright sunlight flooding the area, but I do like the additional light the sun tunnel provides. I came across Boise Skylight a few months back on another platform thanks to two other reviews. Last Thursday I made a phone call and spoke with Paul. Paul took a considerable amount of time with me in that phone conversation, in which, I liked what I was hearing. I ask a lot of questions and Paul took the time to give me answers for all of them. He was then able to schedule an appointment to come over and look the work over the following day (last Friday). Friday comes and he's up the ladder, down the ladder, inside, outside, and also in the attic (quite a few times)... it was a lot because my wife and I had a lot of questions:) At the end of all that, Paul was able to tell my wife and I exactly what we needed to hear about the locations we were hoping to have the Sun Tunnels installed. I recieved an email the following day with a detailed bid, I signed it and Paul told me that they'd be able to get the work done early next week. Believe it or not, it's Tuesday afternoon and I'm sitting in an area of my home that does not lack light anymore due to the Sun Tunnels just installed by Steven. Let's just say that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it comes to communication, attention to detail, and exceeding a customer's expectation. You would not know that after I woke up this morning, someone was inside of our home cutting a few large circles in our ceiling drywall, then on the roof cutting through shingles and wood, or in the attic moving around insulation to do work that causes debris. Our house is spotless, the attic area that Steven was working in is all cleaned with all the insulation put back correctly and the exterior of our home where Steven was working has no trace of debris left behind. This locally owned, family business treated my wife and I like family throughout the whole process. I wouldn't hesitate to call Boise Skylight if you're looking for any work they advertise doing.

My husband and I recently moved into a 10-year old home and the front hallway was ridiculously dark. We hired Paul (and Steven!) to install two solar tubes in the hallway and it looks AMAZING! My husband worked with Paul to set things up and I worked with Steven when he came to install the tubes...both of our experiences were second to none. These men know their business, they are incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions. Steven was very prompt the day of installation and worked quickly to install the tubes. He cleaned up after himself and honestly I've never seen anyone do such a great installation job, start to finish. Was very pleased with the process of getting a quote and then installation of a sun tunnel in my entry way. Steven was very knowledgeable in explaining the entire process. He was running a little bit late on the day of the install, but made sure to give me a call and let me know then a text when he was 10 minutes out. Looks great and certainly lightens up the area.

Had an old 50x74 skylight replaced and we like the low e new one. Price seemed reasonable. Another place told us they could not match large size and another place recommended a full roof replacement which seemed overkill since the only leak was near the skylight.

Great company! We decided to have a skylight installed in our kitchen. Steve came over the same day I called him to give us an estimate. All Solar Idaho was the only company (out of 4 I contacted) that offered to instal a 4x4 skylight (other companies said they installed only 2x4 skylights).Steve and his crew did an excellent job! They were thorough, cleaned up after themselves, offered to come back for free if we weren’t happy with the job (which we were), billed us exactly what they quoted us and were very nice and personable. Their work exceeded our expectations! We will definitely hire them in the future when needed.

Great service, I highly recommend them. We just bought a house and found out that we had a leaking skylight. They were quick to get our skylight fixed and have a 5 year warranty on it.

Boise Skylight is a great company! Steven installed a Solatube skylight in our front entryway, and it illuminates the whole room. It even gives off good light when the sky is overcast. He did a professional job, and left the area spick and span when he left! God help the person that leaves a review below 5 stars ;)

Steven is an absolute pro. Love the skylight! Done on time. No leaks. Great price! What else can you ask for! Steven also owns a roofing company so he knows how to keep the leaks out! Wish I could give him 6 stars!!!
